CrewPay (“we,” “our,” or “us”) values your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use the CrewPay iPad application (“App”).
1. Information We Collect
Personal Information You Provide: Employee Number and Birthday (used for login/verification), and any pay settings, preferences, or logbook data you manually enter into the App.
Automatically Collected: Diagnostics, crash logs, basic usage analytics, and device information (for example, iPad model and iOS version). We may use Apple and Firebase services to collect and process this data.
2. How We Use Information
- Provide core app functionality (calculations, projections).
- Authenticate and secure your account.
- Improve performance and reliability of CrewPay.
- Comply with legal requirements and App Store policies.
3. Data Storage
Entered data (pay assumptions, calculator inputs, logbook entries, and settings) is stored locally on your device so the App can function offline.
Your calculator inputs and logbook data are stored in Firebase/Firestore secure cloud storage so it can sync across your devices and be restored if you reinstall the App.
4. Subscriptions & Payments
CrewPay may require a subscription to access full features. Purchases and billing are handled by Apple via In-App Purchase. We do not collect or store payment card data.
5. Sharing of Information
We do not sell your personal information. We share data only as necessary with Apple (App Store services, subscriptions, and crash reporting) and Firebase/Google Cloud (authentication, cloud data sync, and analytics) to operate and improve the App.
6. Your Choices
- You can delete most local calculator data in the App using “Reset All” or similar in‑app reset options.
- You can request assistance or data deletion by contacting us (see below).
- You may contact us to request deletion of your synced account data from the Firebase servers.
7. Children’s Privacy
CrewPay is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
8. Changes to this Policy
We may update this Policy from time to time. Material changes will be posted on this page with an updated “Effective Date.”
